This Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you use localleadgen.co.uk, our landing pages, and our phone numbers, or otherwise interact with us (together, the “Services”). It covers homeowners/visitors and Providers.

2. The data we collect

2.1 Information you provide

Enquiry details (homeowners): name, phone, postcode, service requested, message.

Provider onboarding: business/trading name, routing number(s), service postcodes, email, answer hours, billing details (processed by Stripe—we do not store full card details).

Communications: emails, messages, support requests.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

Call data & recordings: calling number, time, duration, routing outcome, and audio recording (with notice).

Forms/website: IP address, device info, pages visited, basic analytics and cookie data.

2.3 Special category data

We do not intentionally collect special category data. Please do not include it in messages or calls.

3. How we use personal data & legal bases (UK GDPR)

To connect homeowners with Providers (performing a contract/steps to contract; legitimate interests of both parties).

To operate and secure our Services (legitimate interests).

Call recording for quality/dispute resolution (legitimate interests; we provide notice and an alternative contact method).

To provide summaries and billing to Providers (contract/legitimate interests).

To comply with legal obligations (e.g., fraud prevention, law-enforcement requests).

Marketing (B2B only): soft opt-in or consent per PECR; you may opt out at any time.

4. Sharing your data

We share data with:

Providers responding to your enquiry (homeowner data shared only as needed).

Processors
who help us run the Service: hosting (Webflow/Cloudflare), telephony (Twilio/Plivo), payments (Stripe), analytics, error logging, email/SMS tools.

Authorities where required by law, and with professional advisers (legal/accounting).

We do not sell personal data.

5. International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards (e.g., UK IDTA/EU SCCs) plus supplementary measures where needed.

6. Retention

Call recordings: up to 90 days, unless needed for an active dispute.

Enquiry logs and routing metadata: typically 12–24 months for reporting and fraud prevention.

Provider account/ billing records: 6 years (legal/accounting).

We delete or anonymise data when no longer needed.
